The first public performance of the 2006-07 school year will be February 23, 2007 at the Lakewood Theater in Dallas. It will feature two of the area’s most outstanding high school student vocalists. One of the major goals of the Orchestra is to provide educational and mentoring activities for area high school students. As you consider your band’s educational and fund raising activities for this school year, you may want to include a workshop and/or concert featuring the outstanding Dallas Jazz Orchestra. These activities are currently being arranged for the 2006-07 school year, and your band could schedule a concert featuring the Dallas Jazz Orchestra as one of your fund-raising events.

Under the leadership of composer/arranger/musician Curt Bradshaw, it continues a tradition of outstanding entertainment and inspiring high school and college musicians.
